Are you a young innovator? Have an idea for The Next Big Thing?
A foundation launched recently in Vancouver will offer 10 young Canadians the opportunity to participate in a kind of entrepreneurial boot camp based out of Vancouver’s HootSuite headquarters.
Called The Next Big Thing, the foundation is the creation of HootSuite founder and CEO Ryan Holmes and fashion entrepreneur and philanthropist Meredith Powell. Successful applications will receive a $10,000 bursary and a six-month sojourn at HootSuite’s Vancouver headquarters with its meeting rooms, yoga space and other workplace perks, plus mentorship and guidance from entrepreneurs and leaders in the digital space. Applications are at www.wearetnbt.com and close Dec. 15.
Host Gillian Shaw chats with Holmes and Powell at HootSuite’s Vancouver headquarters.
