Dr. Konrad Walus, Ph.D., P.Eng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and co-founder of Aspect Biosystems. His UBC spin-off technology company has developed a process to 3D print human tissue on demand, leading to innovations in medicine and how we may have made-to-order replacement organs printed from our own tissues.
Science fiction? Perhaps not and according to Dr. Walus, who knows what his technology may bring in the coming years.
Host Gillian Shaw discusses the implications in this episode of Digital Life.
